En general, los diversos entornos globalizados, ya sea de negocios o de la universidad, más y más estudiantes de Inglés llegan a la B 2 Nivel de competencia Inglés relativamente temprana. ¿Dónde está la diversión?

Claramente, no es el proceso inconsciente de la creación de nuevas conexiones sinápticas, pero estar con otras personas en un ambiente de apoyo relajado. En L & S consideramos divertido como un factor de la higiene; dado el pueblo de azar formarán naturalmente bonos y divertirse. Humor, un ambiente relajado y un trato respetuoso son una base necesaria para un aprendizaje óptimo, pero no garantizan una experiencia intensa y gratificante de aprendizaje. Successful adult learning directly addresses learners' needs. Language & Skills takes into account the needs of the trainees and demands of the organization. As a first step, we establish a general framework, in cooperation with our customer's HR unit or training officer. As a second step, we turn to the trainees: They receive a placement test, a questionnaire about their role in the company, and we interview each trainee individually before designing the training. During the needs-analysis, we establish the trainee's current CEF level and agree on a target CEF level with them. Setting a clear, realistic goal is very important in ensuring the trainee's motivation, and makes the result of our work measurable for the client. We create complex and engaging simulations and scenarios based on the challenges our trainees face in their professional environments. 

Fostering autonomy

Mastering a language is a marathon, not a sprint. That's why we place great importance on fostering our trainees' ability to become resourceful, independent learners. We use blended learning methods and provide a broad range of material and online exercises for all our courses and workshops. We believe that isn't enough, however; we believe it's essential to spark our trainees' interest, their passion for learning. As true experts, we don't promise miracles, but we know that we can help our trainees to become more effective autonomous learners. Experience shows that successful participation in our trainings builds confidence and motivates trainees, to leave the reservation to explore sophisticated content by themselves.

And what about vocabulary, grammar and mistakes?

Adults learn vocabulary through context and creating connections with familiar ideas; they learn best when learning occurs implicitly. Experiments show that depth of processing is the crucial factor for knowledge retention; reflection, discussion and critical analysis in combination with scenarios and simulations are the best ways to ensure a depth of processing. You remember what you have done and what made you think. Our complex simulations and the extensive text, audio and video material we provide ensure both action and reflection. We don't shy away from correcting mistakes; our trainers notice and note vocabulary or grammatical mistakes, but they don't interrupt the flow with explicit grammar drills. We note and notice mistakes and address them directly at the end, or in separate sessions. We provide online exercises tailor made for every individual trainee.
